Good question. People have told me I should start a blog, but for a long time I didn't see the point. I already have a news page on my site — The World of Royalty at www.royalty.nu/ — and I thought a blog would just duplicate that, so why bother?
But I've finally realized that a blog is a potential way to reach more people. It's getting harder and harder to find anything in search engines, including my site. A lot of the people who would enjoy my site might never find it in a conventional search engine. But maybe they'll find it through this blog.
Besides, I've been visiting blogs a lot myself lately because they're fun. So maybe keeping my own royalty blog will be fun. I hope so. I don't want this to turn into a chore. So it's an experiment. Let's see how it goes.
