12 Oscar nominations for The King's Speech

The movie "The King's Speech," about British king George VI's struggle to overcome his stammer, has been nominated for 12 Academy Awards. It has already won the Producers Guild of America's Best Picture award, which is considered a sign that it could also win the Oscar for Best Picture.
