I received an email from Stephen L. Schwartz, inventor of the strategic card game Royal Execution. "Set in the challenging Middle Ages, the object of the game is to build a faction of royalty and nobility from one or more lines of succession to capture the throne," he explains.
The game is for 2 to 5 players, ages 8 to adult, and offers options for team play, role-playing, and historical scenarios. For more information, including a video, visit the official Royal Execution website.
Looks like fun! Thank you to Stephen Schwartz for sharing this.
Thanks for the post. I am very passionate about realistically recreating the power struggles between reigning royalty from that era – when royalty did more than reign, they ruled. Royal Execution really helps capture the treachery, intrigue, and strategy in a fun way. Happy Gaming to All!
Hello All,
I have now released a "Wars of The Roses" game play scenario for those history buffs.
The Wars of the Roses Scenario comes alive as Queen Margaret of Anjou seeks refuge in Coventry or King Richard III solidifies his power by imprisoning the young King Edward V within the Tower of London.
If you'd enjoy experiencing the treachery, intrigue, and medieval melodrama of England's past – then check out this addition to Royal Execution.
Happy Gaming to All!
