Here's a look at some of the new royalty books scheduled to be published next month:

The Royal Wedding by James Wilkinson. Westminster Abbey's official souvenir book for the wedding of Prince William and Catherine Middleton.

Anglo-Saxon Kings by Timothy Venning. Anglo-Saxon rulers of Britain from the 5th century until the Norman Conquest in 1066.

Boudica's Last Stand by John Waite. A new interpretation of the British revolt against Rome under warrior queen Boudica.

Absolute Monarchs: A History of the Papacy by John Julius Norwich. A chronicle of nearly 2,000 years of Roman Catholic popes.

Kingdom: The Lion Wakes by Robert Low. It is 1296, and Robert the Bruce is determined to fight against the English king for the freedom of the Scots. First novel in a new series.

A Kingdom Divided: Empire of the Moghul by Alex Rutherford. Humayun, the second Moghul emperor, must battle for his crown, his life, and the existence of the empire. This is a sequel to Raiders From the North, which is about the first emperor, Babur.

Courting Her Highness by Jean Plaidy. Novel about British monarch Queen Anne (1665-1714) and close friends Sarah Churchill and Abigail Hill, originally published in 1966 under the title The Queen's Favourites.

As usual, publication dates are subject to change. The full list of new royalty books will be published on the Royal Books page on July 1.

If I could only read one of the books listed above, I think I'd pick the one about Anglo-Saxon kings because the topic interests me. Which book would you choose?
