Big mouth strikes again

Morrissey-Alexander-Film-In case you've forgotten that the singer Morrissey hates the British royal family, his band recently wore some helpful t-shirts to remind you.

And that's not all. During a concert in Brazil, the singer reportedly took the time to warn his fans, "Prince Harry is in town. He wants to take your money." Don't ask me what he meant by that.

POSTED ON MAY 19, 2011:
The singer Morrissey is, um, not a fan of Queen Elizabeth II.

(If you don't know who Morrissey is, here he is with The Smiths singing "The Queen Is Dead.")

  1. It is a stunt because he is a mediocre musician, who would get little attention without a gimmick. Every time his antics are noted in print he gets free publicity.

  2. Personally I think The Smiths are a great group and Morrissey an excellent songwriter, but I stopped buying his music years ago because I was bothered by some of his lyrics. He's probably just trying to be provocative with a lot of the things he says, but publicity stunts can backfire.
