It's time for another royal bestseller list! As always, this list is based on sales made through the Royalty.nu website and its companion blogs (including this blog).
Half of the books on this bestseller list are repeats from the May/June list! World of Royalty visitors have been reading about European royalty, as well as Britain's Queen Elizabeth II and Duchess of Windsor. Historical fiction continues to be popular, with two novels making it onto the July/August list.
The Great Survivors by Peter Conradi. Tells the story of eight European monarchies and how they made it into the 21st century.
The Palace and the Bunker: Royal Resistance to Hitler by Frank Millard. A study of the role of German and Austrian royals in Hitler's defeat.
Four Sisters, All Queens by Sherry Jones. Fiction. Raised amid the lush valleys of Provence, Marguerite, Eléonore, Sanchia, and Beatrice are all destined to become queens.
Noblesse Oblige: The Duchess of Windsor as I Knew Her by Richard René Silvin. The author knew the Duchess in her later life, and describes her as a clever, funny, and loving woman.
Elizabeth: Reigning in Style by Jane Eastoe. In the 1950s and 1960s Elizabeth II was a style icon. This book features photographs, sketches, and mood boards.
The King's Concubine by Anne O'Brien. Novel about Alice Perrers, mistress of England's King Edward III.
