The bride's wedding dress, designed by Valentino, was pleated silk organza with a lace upper bodice and a four-meter train (over 13 feet long).

Along with relatives of the bride and groom, guests of honor at the wedding included Britain's Earl and Countess of Wessex; Denmark's Crown Prince Frederik, Crown Princess Mary, Prince Joachim and Princess Marie; Princess Takamado of Japan; the Hereditary Grand Duke and Duchess of Luxembourg; Princess Charlene of Monaco; and Norway's Crown Prince Haakon, Crown Princess Mette-Marit, Princess Märtha Louise and Ari Behn.

After the wedding, the bride and groom were taken by horse and carriage from the Royal Palace of Stockholm to Riddarholmen, a small island in central Stockholm. From there, they and their guests traveled by boat to Drottningholm Palace, the royal family's private residence, for the wedding banquet (photo). Here is a menu and more details about the banquet.
