"Read to learn to think," says Queen Letizia

Queen Letizia of Spain spoke during a ceremony for the Barco de Vapor and Gran Angular children's literature awards on April 21, 2015 in Madrid.

An excerpt from the queen's remarks:

Translation:

"Because here we talk about reading, but not in order to travel or to inhabit worlds, not even to fly. Read to learn to think. And that way one can travel, inhabit worlds, and, of course, fly."
