There's a strong roster of new royalty books coming our way in November! Here's your sneak peek. (As always, publication dates are subject to change.)

Emperor Hirohito and the Pacific War by Noriko Kawamura. This book traces Japanese emperor Hirohito's actions from the late 1920s to the end of the Second World War.
Theodora: Actress, Empress, Saint by David Potter. Raised in a family of circus performers, Theodora became empress of the Byzantine empire.
Dynasties: A Global History of Power, 1300-1800 by Jeroen Duindam. Charts the rise and fall of dynasties, from European, African, Mughal, Ming-Qing and Safavid dynasties to the Ottoman Empire, Tokugawa Japan and Choson Korea.
The full list of new royalty books will be published on the Royalty.nu Books page on November 1.
If I could only read one of the books listed above, I would probably pick the one about Empress Theodora because I want to learn more about her. Which book would you choose?
Hmm…I would choose the same book that you have mentioned above about Empress Theodora and "Dynasties: A Global History of Power, 1300-1800" or "King of Kings", depending on which books on royal history that I would like to add to my slow growing collection on my bookshelf. I currently own about 16 books at this moment, and will grow in the future, when I make purchases from this website via Amazon.com and buy some of the easy-to-find book titles from the Barnes and Noble bookstore, using this website as a resource.
Kasia, thank you very much, I'm glad you find the site helpful!
UPDATE: According to Amazon.com, the publication date for "King of Kings" has been moved to December. (It's quite possible it will change again in the future.)
