Japanese prince receives award for his role in fight against cancer

Japan's Prince Hitachi (right) receives the Charter of Paris Against Cancer Award on February 1, 2016, in Versailles, France.

 

Prince Hitachi, age 80, is a cancer researcher and honorary president of the Japanese Foundation for Cancer Research. He is the younger brother of Emperor Akihito.
