Queen Elizabeth II by Victoria Arbiter. A brief biography of the monarch who vowed to dedicate her life to her country.
I Love You Madly by Evelyn Farr. The letters of Axel von Fersen and French queen Marie-Antoinette reveal that they were lovers. This book explains how they communicated using code and invisible ink, secret seals, and double envelopes.
The Divorce of King Lothar and Queen Theutberga by Hincmar of Rheims, translated by Rachel Stone and Charles West. Written in the 9th century, this is a key source for the first royal divorce scandal of the Middle Ages.
Three Sisters, Three Queens by Philippa Gregory. Fiction. English king Henry VIII's first wife, Katherine of Aragon, forms a special bond with his sisters, Margaret and Mary Tudor.

If I could only read one of the books listed above, I would go with The Fall of Heaven, but I'm glad I don't have to pick just one! Which book would you choose?
There are many books to chose from, that I can't decide. If I have a choice in these selections, mine would be "The Fall of Heaven" by Andrew Scott Cooper, as I am very interested in the history of the Iranian Imperial Family. 🙂 My other choices would be "Queen Elizabeth II" by Victoria Arbiter (she is my favourite monarch, and the Head of State of my country), and two on the French monarchy (medieval and pre-Revolutionary), and maybe one on the Tudor era. Before I start collecting history book titles, I need to get a bigger bookshelf for my future room for this. 🙂
