As regular visitors to this blog will know, every month I publish a sneak peek at next month's new royalty books. But it was a dire situation last month. At first I could find only find TWO new books about royalty scheduled for publication in June!
That number has now risen to seven. You can visit the Royalty.nu Books page to see the new additions.
I'm happy to report that July is shaping up to be a better month for royal book fans. Here's your sneak peek. But as always, publication dates are subject to change, as we found out last month!
Royal Teas by Mark Flanagan. A British royal chef shares recipes for Buckingham Palace tea-time treats.
Edward VII by Catharine Arnold. Biography of Queen Victoria's eldest son, with emphasis on his scandalous love affairs.
Gender and Politics in Eighteenth-Century Sweden by Elise M. Dermineur. The life and political role of Queen Louisa Ulrika (1720-1782).
For the full list of new royalty books, visit the Royalty.nu Books page in July. (I usually add extra books to the list throughout the month.)
If I could only read one of the books listed above, I would probably choose Royal Teas — even though I don't spend a lot of time in the kitchen — because it looks like it will be fun to read. Which book would you choose?
