Sneak peek at January 2020 new royalty books

It's almost time to say hello to 2020, and to a brand new batch of books on royal topics. Here's your sneak peek!

The Emperor Who Never Was: Dara Shukoh in Mughal India by Supriya Gandhi. Biography of the eldest son of Emperor Shah Jahan.

The House of Grey by Melita Thomas. England's Grey family was interwoven with medieval and Tudor royalty by marriage.

Crossing the Rubicon by Luca Fezzi. Account of the fateful year leading to the rise of Julius Caesar's autocracy.

King Abdul Aziz: Political Correspondence, 1904-1953 edited by A. Burdett. Four-volume set of letters to and from the first king of Saudi Arabia. (Don't blame me for the price!)

As always, publication dates are subject to change. The full list of new royalty books will be published on the Books page on New Year's Day.

If I could only read one of the books listed above, my choice would be The Emperor Who Never Was because of its beautiful cover. (Okay, so I'm shallow.) Which book would you choose?
