The Empress and the English Doctor by Lucy Ward. As smallpox ravaged her empire, Russia's Catherine the Great summoned Quaker physician Thomas Dimsdale.

A Blackmailer at Frogmore by James Travers. The ghostwriter of British king George IV's wife, Queen Caroline, threatened to reveal royal secrets.

To see the full new book list, visit the Books page next month. But why wait? You can go over there right now and check out the April and May new book lists!

If I could only read one of the books listed above, I would select King of the World because I enjoy reading about ancient history. Which book would you choose?
