King Khama: The African Abe Lincoln

Here's a pilot video for a proposed animated movie about Botswana's King Khama III, who saves Botswana from being turned into a colony by touring Britain, winning the people to his cause, and finally confronting Queen Victoria at Windsor Castle.

Khama: Land of My People

I was contacted by Mark Macauley, who has written a screenplay about Botswana's King Khama III called "Khama: Land of My People." The story takes place in 1895. Threatened with having his people enslaved and his lands stolen,
King Khama outwits Queen Victoria and the British Government, saving his country from colonization.
